sEMG and bioengineering

Surface electromyography from sensing hardware through signal decoding to control.

Surface electromyography end to end: the sensing hardware, the signal conditioning, and the decoding needed to turn a noisy differential voltage into a control input. The applications that interest me are prosthetics, rehabilitation, and human-machine interfaces.

Projects

In progress

riza — Smart Massager

A shiatsu massager driven by the muscle it is working on — surface EMG sets the intensity, closing the control loop through the body.
